Appendix I: Experiment 2 Instructions to Subjects

The general instructions and the specific instructions for each group were displayed on the computer. The following screenshots show the interface with the displayed instructions for each group. For all of the instructions, participants were required to repeat the instructions out loud following the same procedure used for the instructions in Experiment 1. After they satisfactorily demonstrated that they understood the directions, they were given the password to proceed.
